All
kind of cultural events, folkloristic festivals may be visited all
over the region especially in the summer time. During spring, autumn
and winter time it is less touristic here. These are the ideal seasons
to enjoy the tranquillity or hiking and biking.. There are always some
traditional festivals and the cities nearby give you a big choice of cinemas,
theatres, concerts, museums, monuments or other interesting sights.
Sunbathing on the sheltered balcony is possible even during the winter time, since the temparature may vary from 40° C in the sun to minus 10° at night. Between mid December and the mid February a lot of restaurants in the small villages may be closed.

activities in Quinson: mountain-climbing , tennis, boules, hiking,
biking, horseback riding, canoeing through the canyon up to the lac d'Esparron.
Hiking paths start at our house-door.

over the the beaches of the nearby lakes - within 5,10,15,18 km
distance - , there are plenty of pleasant small bays swith a lot of
room for everybody. All watersports are possible, except for motor boat
driving
The cities neaby - Riez with its picturesque markets and Barjols, famous
for its many fountains - are about 20 km away. They invite you to walk
around or to do your shopping.
Aix
en Provence is 70 km away, about 1 hour's drive and to the Côte
d'Azur and the 2000 m mountains of the "Alpes de Haute Provence"
it is about 1 ½ hr drive by car
